Anesthis – ‘Prayer’

The best way to characterise Anesthis’ ‘Prayer’ is “beautifully charming.” The composer manages to transmit his emotions through music seamlessly, and despite the lack of words, the music speaks for itself!

Anesthis has been composing for a long time and has honed his craft to fine art, and his dedication and hard work pay off with this pleasant retreat. He walks a one-of-a-kind journey to paradise, with many twists and turns that add to the piece’s drama. Furthermore, ‘Prayer’ begins with a pivotal opener; it is an unorthodox method, with many classical compositions starting gently and gradually increasing in volume. Nevertheless, this one begins as it intends to continue, and it becomes a little gentler as it progresses.

The piano from Anesthis pours out a lot of beauty in the first section. You can quickly close your eyes and head to a place where only peace reigns. However, just when you think the composition is going one way, it decides to go in an entirely different route. It keeps us on our toes and adds to the adventure’s excitement.

The composition opens up with crushing notes in the middle half, building an even more celestial route once the notes tone down. Midway through, the music becomes truly majestic, and it ticks all the boxes for anyone who appreciates music with the ability to move them.
