Bad Bubble, the Chicago-based musician unveils his latest single, “Sweet Knot”, a synthpop reverie that drifts between nostalgia and raw emotion.
From the outset this track feels like a dream caught between decades. The lush synths and electronic textures pull from the ethereal qualities of 1980s new wave, while the songwriting carries the weight of 1990s alternative introspection. It’s a song of longing with a melody that feels vast.
For me, “Sweet Knot” is a song where vulnerability is strength and melody is a vessel for raw emotion. Also, with this release, Bad Bubble continues to carve out a space where synthpop meets poetic storytelling, leaving a lasting imprint on the heart and mind.
