Hayden Brenen and L.D.N have the summer feel good going on with their new track ‘Mi Carino’. Listen to it, and it will take you to a sunny beach in the Mediterranean. Well, not physically, it isn’t that powerful, but in spirit, it will.
The track came out just a bit before summer. It gets the vibe started quicker than you could say, Jack Robinson. Also, it has a vibe which is suitable for any party. I can only feel bad for Hayden and L.D.N though as given any other year; it would be circling like wildfire across dance clubs. But, due to COVID-19, there is little chance of it making its way onto many club playlists, well anything not virtual anyway.
But, it will take you away from the lockdown. It has a strong melody, and a Latin feel, which will make you feel like you managed to get away this year. Vocally, Hayden is delightful and has massive amounts of quality in his delivery. He makes it look easy. But, there is a Hip Hop texture within it too with rapper L.D.N doing his thing with style. He drops bars naturally, and his performance is extremely likeable.
Overall, the music is a selling point. It has a great dancey vibe which many would find hard to fault. It has a commercial sound which works for this track, and although there is a lot of polish on it, it works. I would not have wanted to hear it any other way.
