‘Cower’ is the latest release to come from British experimental musician Oscar Merry. It takes us on an unforgettable journey, and Oscar’s talent is on full display.
Surprisingly, this track is the creation of Oscar working by himself. Every instrument you hear on this piece is by Oscar, and it proves the musician’s ability to be versatile playing instruments to a very high quality. For me, ‘Cower’ is one of the stand out tracks of the year. It comes with plenty of likeabilities, and it combines many sounds which makes it unique in its own right.
Kicking off the piece is a guitar melody which is brazen. We are then with a strong vocal performance from Oscar who brings a genuinely gritty and honest delivery to the table. He then rides the track through with conviction, and it leaves us itching to hit replay with is contagious resonance.
