What I love most about new music Friday, is finding a gem like ‘Crazy Over You’.
It is a release by Suman, and she has joined forces with popular producer Ayo Beatz to make a track which catapults them into a space of their own with infectious quality.
It is the first time I have come across Suman, and I am still wondering why given her talent. She has a genuine approach to singing, and I can almost touch her emotion on this piece. Cleverly, the pair have introduced a new sound to the dancehall genre, and it makes for a refreshing listen, especially if you are looking for something just that little bit different.
Musically, it is potent, and it carries a rhythm and melody which leaves a long-lasting indent. You can listen to ‘Crazy Over You’ below.
