Danny Smart is the man of the moment in the British country-rock scene. He is taking the music community by storm, and his new track ‘She’s Mine’ is a treat we have all been waiting for in recent times.
The track-only came out a few weeks back, and I found it while browsing through new music feeds. From the start, I knew it was for me. It has a strong bluesy feel but also plenty of rock elements inside it to make it quite an experience for anyone looking for something just that little bit different.
Since I played it, I did some homework on the artist. My findings surprised me. He comes from Barnsley, and this proves the northern tongue we hear at various places within his vocal performance. But, ask me where I thought he came from before I found his routes and I would have been unable to guess. He does not sound like the type of artist to come from Yorkshire. Also, he has plenty of similarities with some of the greatest country artists from over the pond. But, yet there is a Yorkshire dialect poking out at times which makes him unique in his own right.
The singer is relatively new, and his sound is still developing. But, do not let that put you off. ‘She’s Mine’ could have easily come from an artist with decades of experience under their belt. Danny has a mature vibe which makes age-irrelevant. Also, his sound is punchy, energetic and extremely exciting. Therefore, if you want to hear the freshest and most exquisite sounds of 2020, look no more. Danny Smart is proving his worth and ‘She’s Mine’ will be sticking around for quite some time, I am sure. So, want to find out for yourself?
