Who here remembers the Five Star classic ‘System Addict’, released in 1985? You lucky people, it is back, but this time it is even bigger and more current than before, thanks to a new version that has been put together by Lady Marga MC.
Lady Marga MC, who is cousins with one of the original members of Five Star, Doris, has also enlisted the assistance of numerous famous musicians, including Doris herself, to unleash her vision. In addition, Felix from Basement Jaxx is a part of the project, as is the highly acclaimed producer Janski, who puts down an absurdly fascinating mix that is impossible to ignore!
Although the new song does not entirely re-invent the wheel, it does contribute to the body of work that Five Star initially established in the 1980s. Also, considering how successful it was back then, it shouldn’t come as a surprise if the same thing happens again this time around, especially because Lady Marga MC will be in charge of steering the ship.
